In December of 2020, I was approached by Matt and Hana and asked to become their creative director for their upcoming senatorial campaign for USC's United Student Government. As a creative director, I was able to create a campaign logo, as well as some campaign materials (presentations and campiagn sheets). Most importanty, I was in charge of social media and along with campaign manager Rachelle Jin, we worked to make an appealing social media account which eventually amunted to 700+ followers, the most of any candidate!
In the end, both of my candidates got elected, and Hana Li even got the most votes out of any candidate.
Role: Director of Graphics

01/LOGO
For the Campaign Logo, I tried to get inspired by other campaign logos I had seen in the past. I wanted something strong, yet inviting. I also experimented with iconography in the logo. I chose the theme of light to show unique candidates and a bright future.
In the end, we chose this simple yet strong logo. It packs a punch and stays clear whether sized up or sized down. We then chose the main colors of blue, green, and orange for the campaign. We strayed away from the classic red and blue not only to stand out, but also to convey a sense of a new and revolutionary campaign.
